This Privacy Policy explains how OceanofTools handles information when you use the website, optional accounts, the browser extension, the Business Supporter program, payment-related features and the supporter offline package.
2. Information you provide
You may provide text, files, URLs, domains, form entries, ratings, support messages or other input needed for a particular tool. You may also provide account information through the supported sign-in provider and payment-related information needed to identify a supporter transaction.
3. Browser-based and server-assisted processing
Browser-based tools
Many text, image, PDF, calculator and developer tools are designed to process input inside your browser. When a tool is fully browser-based, the working file or text normally does not need to be uploaded to OceanofTools for the operation itself.
Server-assisted and remote tools
Tools that fetch websites, inspect domains, resolve IP or network information, call an API or otherwise require remote data may send the URL, domain, request details or necessary input to our server or a service provider. Those tools cannot be treated as fully offline.
4. Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting, security, analytics and related services may process IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, timestamps, referrer, error information and similar technical data needed to deliver, secure and understand the service.
5. Optional accounts, ratings and history
If you sign in, we may store an account identifier, name, email address, profile image URL, authentication provider, tool history and ratings associated with your account. These records support account functionality and are not intended to make your private uploaded files public.
6. Business Supporter payments
For one-time or recurring support, a payment provider handles checkout and payment credentials. OceanofTools may store transaction identifiers, order or recurring-authorization identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, selected benefit duration, timestamps and the supporter entitlement needed to provide access.
7. Browser extension
The optional OceanofTools browser extension provides a limited set of quick tools in the browser side panel. Guest usage counters are stored locally in the extension. If you connect an OceanofTools account, the website stores a random extension authorization-token hash, a browser/device label and a daily action count so the extension can apply the free daily allowance and verify active supporter access.
Text and files processed by the extension's local quick tools are intended to stay in the browser and are not uploaded to OceanofTools for the tool operation itself. The extension may contact oceanoftools.in to connect an account, check supporter status, count a completed extension action, open the corresponding full website tool, or manage supporter access.
8. Offline package and device information
The supporter offline system creates a random browser-device identifier and may store a human-readable device label, activation/last-seen timestamps, supporter expiry, offline authorization expiry and a hash of issued authorization tokens. The browser also stores the signed authorization and cached tool assets locally so eligible tools can work without a connection.
Offline authorization normally lasts for up to 30 days at a time. Local cached content can remain on a device until the browser, operating system or user clears it, even after supporter access expires; the signed authorization controls whether protected cached tool pages should be served offline.
9. Cookies, analytics and advertising
OceanofTools may use necessary cookies for sign-in and security, optional analytics subject to consent controls, and advertising technologies for regular visitors. Active signed-in supporters are intended to receive an ad-free OceanofTools experience while their supporter status is valid. Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies.
10. How information may be used
- To operate, secure, debug and improve tools and account features.
- To verify payments, maintain supporter entitlements and manage recurring-support status.
- To issue and validate offline authorizations and manage supporter devices.
- To prevent fraud, abuse or attempts to bypass access controls.

- To measure website performance and advertising where permitted by consent and applicable law.
11. Service providers
We may use hosting, authentication, payment, analytics, advertising, security, email or API providers where needed to operate the website. We share only information reasonably necessary for the relevant service and do not sell payment credentials to advertisers.
12. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for account functionality, supporter access, transaction records, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling and service security. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so you should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
13. Your choices
You can use many standard tools without signing in, manage or delete an account using available account controls, clear local browser storage/cache through your browser, adjust cookie preferences, cancel future recurring support where available and contact us about applicable privacy rights.
14. Children
OceanofTools is a general utility website and is not designed to collect sensitive personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact us.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools, payment methods, supporter features or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
